Westlane Delaware Trail Little League

Westlane Delaware Trail Little LeagueThe Westlane Delaware Trail Little League Web site uses PHP and MySQL to display league schedules, standings, sponsors and boosters, board members, and a full feature parents area of the Web site.

The site includes a complete registration system that has replaced hand completed registration forms integrating with PayPal payment systems to accept credit / debit cards and PayPal account payments. The site also has programing that allows board members to review registration statistics, draft lists, and send e-mail to other board members, managers and coaches, and parents. Managers can access their team rosters as well as schedules. Parents can also sign-up for text-message alerts along with the e-mail alerts that are sent to families in the event of game postponements.

Indianapolis Independent Pediatricians, P.C.

Indianapolis Independant Pediatricians, P.C.The Indianapolis Pediatric Associates, P.C. web site is my second foray into fields outside the art & framing industry.

The site is a content management system built on the LAMP platform. All content is served dynamically from a MySQL database using PHP. The client is able to add, edit, and delete content as well as change the order in which the articles appear on the pages through an administrative back-end.

Framemakers, Austin Texas

FramemakersThe Framemakers web site is a good example of what I call a basic "brochure" web site. It has the who, what and where for visitors.

DeGeorge Custom Frames, White Haven, Florida

DeGeorge Custom FramesThe DeGeorge Custom Frames Web site is another example of a brochure Web site, literally designed to duplicate the design of their printed brochure. The site includes a contact form that uses PHP to send messages to the client rather than post an e-mail address on the site reducing the opportunity for unsolicited e-mail.

The Online Exchange

Online ExchangeThe Online Exchange started as an e-mail discussion list in 1997 running through Octoer of 2007 when the PPFA started an in-house bulletin board. The site includes a fully searchable archive of over 60,000 messages sent during the eleven year run of the Online Exchange. Also included were a subscriber database, classified ad section, and the ability for users to edit their contact information and change the way and frequency that they received messages from the discussion list. The list software was operated independently of the site requiring archiving routines written in PERL routines triggered when a message reached a special archiving mailbox, and MySQL database for storage of the messages and subscriber information. The database is accessed using PHP. All of the subscriber area of the site was dynamically served depending on what the user wanted to do.

Adlers Art & Frame, 4 locations in Virginia

Adlers Art FrameJim Adler was my first design customer back in 2001. In 2004 I designed a catalog and shopping cart for a portfolio of over 120,000 pieces of artwork using PHP and MySQL and hosted their site until they discontinued the poster catalog in 2008.

The Adler web site also included links to off-site publishers in pop-up windows so that the customer could view artwork while being able to quickly get back to the Adlers web site.

Christ Church Cathedral Virtual Tour

Christ Church Cathedral Virtual TourThis section of a larger site was a virtual tour of the church that I belong to. The tour was based on the self-guided walking tour of the church built in downtown Indianapolis in 1857. The section included the text of the walking tour along with photos of the stained glass and other features of the church in a pop-up window that adjusted for the size of the photo and the browser window. Unfortunately with the now 3rd different website design the Cathedral site no longer has any historical information about the building, including the tour.
